چکیده

These lecture notes survey a number of topics from the classical and modern theory of interpolation of operators. One aim, after the general introduction, is to discuss a family of results which deal with the problems of describing all interpolation spaces with respect to given couples of Banach spaces. A second aim is to present the remarkable K−divisibility theorem of Brudnyi and Krugljak, including its interaction with the above-mentioned problems. These lecture notes are dedicated to the blessed memory of my beloved brother, BERNARD JOHN CWIKEL, 25/5/1951-22/3/1991.
